When you are thinking about Africa, you are probably also think about the country Kenya. A lot of wildlife is living in this country and you can even see the big-five! Kenya is as well a country with epic landforms, you  can find here show-capped mountains which are almost on the equator (e.g Mount Kenya), but also beautiful beaches on the palm-fringed coastline of the Indian Ocean. You can discover a lot of thing in this overwhelming country!

In Kenya are living animals which are not living anywhere else on the world. In the Masai Mara are living wildebeest and zebras. But in Kenya you can also ding the red elephants of Tsavo or a mass of pink flamingos stepping through lake shallows. That the wildlife in Kenya is still there, owes everything to Africa's most innovative and successful conservation communities. In private and community conservations (e.g. Laikipia or Masai Mara) the tourists and local community come together.

Anthony Ham, writer from Lonely planet explains why he loves Kenya: “Kenya is where my love affair with Africa took hold and promised never to let go. Wildlife (big cats especially) and wilderness rank among the grand passions of my life and it was here that I saw my first lion on the march (in Amboseli), my first cheetah on the hunt (Tsavo East), my first leopard on a kill (Tsavo West) and where I came so close to elephants (Taita Hills) and black rhinos (Lewa) that I could have reached out to touch them. This is the home of Maasai and Samburu friends who give me hope that the old ways can survive”.

But Travelers become more informed about what to see and to visit in Africa. Since people want to have the optimal experience they want to go to places that aren’t really discovered by tourists yet. They want to have that special feeling and no big crowds and long queues (MacKrill, 2014). In order to gain profit from this new trends, travel agencies have to offer trips to new and undiscovered places and attractions.

More and more people have to endure stress or are overloaded with information. But this new trend will give people a ‘Digital detox’. Travelers want to go to places where is space, where they can find the beauty of nature and clean air. Kenya is a perfect destination to do a ‘Digital detox’, the country offers many relaxing and exciting activities which shows people the most beautiful things in the world without the need of digital devices. On these ‘Digital detox’ trips technology is irrelevant, so you can clean your mind (MacKrill, 2014).

I would also like to visit Kenya, I think it’s a beautiful country in where you can discover so many things. I would like to see the big-five on a safari and meet the locals. I think you really don’t need your mobile devices in a country like this and a visit will probably be a ‘Digital detox’ for me.
